SPCA's Microchipping service.

The SPCA can microchip your dog or cat for you and list it on a national internet database called The Companion Animal Register.

Reef the Staffordshire Bull Terrier (pictured left) was stolen but because he was microchipped, Reef was identified and reunited with his original family. Contact us for more details about microchipping.

Bay of Islands SPCA Saving Lives and making a difference in our community.

Congratulations BOI SPCA!

The Bay of Islands SPCA have been chosen to receive a brand new Toyota Avensis Station Wagon for 12 months or 20,000 km, from one 25 vehicles that has been given to the SPCA.

The BOI SPCA centre was selected for a variety of reasons including need, commitment to the SPCA brand and mission, and the wonderful work they do both for the animals and the community. The Bay of Islands SPCA will use their vehicle for education visits to schools in the Far North during 2013 and we are delighted that the BOISPCA has been given a wonderful opportunity.

Why adopt an   Bay of Islands SPCA - Kerikeri dog??

SPCA dogs are either desexed (if older than 6 months) or come with a desexing voucher So your new dog will not burden you with unwanted puppies or contribute to the epidemic of neglected  homeless animals.

  • SPCA dogs have been health checked and vaccinated

  • SPCA dogs have been microchipped

  • SPCA dogs are registered with the Council

So we do all the work and you don’t have the hassle and expense. The price you pay for an SPCA dog has been discounted by our providers and subsidised by us so you save money and when you adopt an SPCA dog you free up one of our spaces - enabling us to rescue another neglected or abused or homeless dog. They need your love and we need your support. Help us find an SPCA dog or cat a home today. Thank you.
